LIBRARY NEWS by Catherine Vanstone
On Wednesday, February 21, fathers and their pre-k children gathered in the Miller County Elementary School Lunchroom to hear children's librarian Tom Bush share stories. In addition, Mr. Tom discussed the importance of reading to your children. He stressed to the fathers that studies have shown that if your child does not become a reader by the fifth grade then they will never become one. Therefore, parents need to read to their children each day. The program was such a success that a similar program is already in the works for the mothers.
