On the road for seniors

On the road for seniors The Hinkle Family was in Colquitt Friday, February 9, performing for the Miller County Senior Center and then to the Miller Nursing Home residents. From all reports, they just keep getting better each time they come.

These singers/ministers/entertainers and most of all "soul- savers" are a unique group that travels full-time, 365 days a year, from coast to coast, ministering to the elderly in nursing homes, retirement centers and churches.

They stated while in Colquitt that the figures change each day, but they have been traveling the U.S.A. since the year 2001. In the past four years, they held 3114 services, visited 277,775 souls and traveled over 500,000 miles across this nation. Their goal is to hold 1000 services each year while visiting 100,000 souls.

They have visited in Colquitt for several years, and those who see and hear their ministry and music are always thrilled when they return.
