ISAAC CORNELIUS HANNAH Isaac Cornelius Hannah, 24, of Americus, died Monday, December 11, 2006, in Baker County. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Mueller, Rev. Charles Barrineau, and Rev. Warren Alford officiating. Interment followed in Oak City Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Odell, Dave Pollard, Aaron Hannah, Jason Alday, Danny Alday, and Charlie Fitzgerald. M r. Hannah was born June 2, 1982, in Bainbridge. He lived in Decatur County all his life until moving to Americus in 2005. He was of the Pentecostal faith and worked in the shipping department for Tolleson Lumber Co. in Preston. He loved motorcycles, playing the saxophone, Sunkist, snickers, and was a volunteer at J.C. Pineapple youth activity center in Americus. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2001 where he was active in the BHS Band and won the Ted Harrell sportsmanship award for swimming in 1995. Survivors include his parents, John Lester Hannah II and Brenda Gail Alday Hannah of Americus; his girlfriend, Kim Scott of Donalsonville; two sisters, Georgia Hannah of McDonough and LaDonna (husband Nufo) Rios of Bainbridge; two brothers Les Hannah of Palm Springs, CA and Jesse Hannah of Americus; his grandmother, Ruth Hannah of Tuscaloosa, AL; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. |
