A group of 15- yearold girlfriends discussed where to meet for dinner. Finally, they agreed to meet at the Dairy Queen next to the Ocean View Restaurant because they had only $ 6.00 among them, and Joey Johnson, the cute boy in Social Studies, lived on that street.

Gen. Beauregard Lee predicts an early spring

The South’s iconic groundhog, Gen. Beauregard Lee, waddled out of his “Weathering Heights” mansion and failed to see his shadow on the Georgia red dirt.

The development bodes well for warm weather:

No shadow means an early spring, hundreds of spectators were told as the prediction was made around 7:30 a.m. Thursday outside Atlanta.

Miss Brackin to wed Mr. Fiveash in April

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Brackin of Donalsonville would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Brackin, to Jared Lee Fiveash, son of Edward and Eleanor Fiveash.

Ms. Brackin is a 2005 graduate of Seminole County High School and attended Bainbridge College. She is currently employed by Donalsonville Hospital.
