WAYNE PERKINS


Mr. Wayne Perkins, age 55, of Colquitt died Thursday, June 1, 2006.
Mr. Perkins was born August 13, 1950, to the late Dovert Perkins and Arrie Perkins of Colquitt. He worked with the City of Atlanta as a fireman until he retired and moved back to Colquitt.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Crews officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were brothers and friends of Mr. Perkins.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Perkins, Colquitt; one daughter, Michelle Perkins; one son, Wayne Perkins Jr., all of Colquitt; mother, Mrs. Arrie Perkins, Colquitt; four sisters, Betty (Michael) Williams, Agnes (Luke) Gilbert, both of Atlanta, Janice (Raymond) Shepard, Barbara Jean Morgan, both of Colquitt; four brothers, Willie D. (Rhonda) Perkins, Atlanta, Leon (Melva) Perkins, Lamar (Gloria) Perkins, Dennis (Liz) Perkins, all of Colquitt; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.


Williams Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.

JACK NELSON TUCKER


Mr. Jack Nelson Tucker Sr., age 64 of Newton died Sunday, June 4, 2006 in Baker County.
Mr. Tucker was born September 27, 1941 in Baker County. He was a meat cutter and attended Live Oak Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Live Oak Free Will Baptist CHurch with the Rev. Melvin Moody and the Rev. Paul Irvin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Bush, Vance Sheffield, Phillip Abbott, Ray Abbott Jr., T.E. Moye and Rusty Lanier.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Jason Wall, Callahan, FL; one sister, Linda Papp, Albany; three brothers, Lynwood Tucker, Newton, Ray Tucker, ALbany, Frank Tucker, Newton; and two grandchildren, Brook Wall and Trent Wall, Callahan, FL.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jack Nelson Tucker, Jr.


Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

RUEL JEFFERSON EVERSON


Mr. Ruel Jefferson Everson, age 80 of Edison died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Everson was born August 31, 1925 in Early County. He was retired owner of Everson Home and Auto in Edison. He was a member of Edison Baptist Church and was the Chaplain and member of the Edison Lions Club, member of the American Legion Post #183, Edison, a Gideon and a deacon of the Edison Baptist Church. He also was in the U.S. Navy and served in World War II.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Edison Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Williams, Rev. Gary Meadows and Dickey DeMott officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Arlington.
Pallbearers were Frank Miller, Bobby Brooks, Chad Brooks, Tom Jackson, Barry Bell and Ted McLendon.
Survivors include one brother, Bo Everson, Colquitt; three sisters, Doris Nesbitt and husband, Burt, Leesburg, Eleanor WOod and husband, Billy, Lake City, FL, Ann Taylor and husband, Frank, Leesburg; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

AUDRA MAE FAIRCLOTH COOK

AUDRA MAE FAIRCLOTH COOK
Mrs. Audra Mae Faircloth Cook, age 77 of Bainbridge died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. Cook was born August 21, 1928 in Seminole County to the late Ennis Grady Faircloth and Birdie Williams Faircloth. She graduated from West Bainbridge High School in 1946 and married John Wilkinson Cook on July 4, 1947. She was an LPBN at Memorial Manor Nursing Home and a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Van Landingham officiating. Interment followed at Whites Bridge Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, John Wilkinson Cook, Bainbridge; son, Lyn Kelvin Cook, Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Sandra Rives, Macon; five sisters, Mamie Black, Hazel Brunson, Avon Park, FL, Bernice Ingram, Ollie Mae Faircloth, Melanie Hutchins, Bainbridge; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
