Week of July 3, 2005

VADREA HORNACK

Vadra Hornack, 97, of Donalsonville, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005 from Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Buchanan officiating.
Mrs. Hornack was born in Paducah, KY on October 25, 1907. She worked as a truck driver for US Steel.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three daughters Pauline Majtyka, Geraldine Hamera and Laverne Przybysz.

ROSE MARY PINION

Rose Mary Pinion, 47, of Bainbridge, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 3, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Christian Faith Church in Bainbridge with the Reverend Ronald Kirkland officiating. Interment followed in Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers were John Day, Larry Hand, Scott Connell, Stuart Kelly, Chris Kelly, and Jimmy Blalock. Honorary pallbearers were members of Christian Faith Church of Bainbridge.

Mrs. Pinion was born October 26, 1957 in Thomson to Johnny P. and Mildred Shumpert Hobbs. She moved to Decatur County in 1984. She was a member of Christian Faith Church in Bainbridge and worked for the Ga. Industries for the Blind.

Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Alecia Hobbs Stewart of Wadley and Shelia Hobbs Morey of Thomson; five nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harold Pinion.


Cox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
