JAMES ROLAND JOSEY
James Roland Josey, 78, of Bainbridge, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.
Grave side services were held Saturday, July 2, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. in Bethel Cemetery in Decatur County with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.
Mr. Josey was born February 18, 1929 in Decatur County.
Survivors include one sister, R. Esther McCann of Bainbridge and several nieces and nephews.

ROYCE HALL
We regret to announce the passing of Royce Hall, age 80, of Donalsonville who passed away Thursday afternoon, June 30, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2005 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. Kirk Loyless and Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, july 3 afternoon from 1:00 -2:30 PM at the Chapel.
Mr. Hall was born in Reynolds, GA on October 27, 1924 to the late Robert and Lillian Blair Hall. He graduated Ideal High School in 1942 and went on to graduate from ABAC, the University of Georgia, and received his Masters Degree from Auburn University. He married Dorothy King on May 31, 1951, and she preceded him in death on June 26, 1983. He served as a County Agent for 30 years before his retirement. He was a WWII Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. in the 143 AACS Squadron. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, where he had taught Sunday School. He taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church for 30 years. He also served as a deacon in that church. He was a member of the Donalsonville Lions Club, a founding member of the Donalsonville Country Club, a member of the American Legion for nearly 50 years, and a member of the Friendship Club. Mr. Hall also served on the Seminole County Board of E Education from 1985-1996.
Mr. Hall leaves to cherish his memory three sons Royce C. Hall, Jr. (Rusty) and Teresa of Kennessaw, GA; Charles Brantley Hall and Kelley of Leesburg, GA, Harry Thomas Hall and Sherri of Macon, GA; one daughter Susan H. McKinney and Ronnie of Cordele, GA; a brother Willard Hall of Atlanta, GA; a sister Lynelle Shuler of Longwood, FL; sister-in-law Betty Hall and brother-in-law Carl Raburn both of Oglethorpe, GA. Seven grandchildren Kyle, Kory, Matt, Spencer, Madison, Austin and Macy also survive. Mr. Hall is also survived by a special friend, Doris Owen of Donalsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son Russell Hall in 1958 and a grandchild Amanda McKenney in 2003.

HUGH CHANDLER
Hugh Chandler, 79, of Jakin died Monday, June 27, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Jakin Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sheffield and Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Chandler was born in Buchanan on June 1, 1926 to the late Robert O. and Emma Bartow White Chandler. He served his country in the US Army, and retired from the IRS where he worked in the collections division. He was a member of Jakin Freewill Baptist Church and also a deacon.
Survivors include his wife Winnie Jean Reeves Chandler of Jakin; sons Kerry Hugh Chandler of Jakin and Gregory Doyle Chander and his wife Glenda of Donalsonville; daughters Jennifer Chandler North and her husband Mike of Grayson; Penelope Jean Chandler Harvey and her husband Timothy of Chamblee; brother Doyle Chandler of Jakin. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother John Henry Chandler.

MORRELL BEVERS
Morrell Bevers, 89, of Donalsonville, died Monday, June 27, 2005 at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge.
Graveside services were held Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating.
Mr. Bevers was born in Beaumont, TX on January 13, 1916 to the late Charles and Bertha Vincent Bevers. He married Rennie Lee Horn on December 15, 1940 and was a farmer. He was a member of Jakin Baptist Church, and he was also a Mason.
Survivors include his wife Rennie Bevers of Donalsonville; two daughters Linda Phillips and her husband Montie of Iron City, Gail Stewart and her husband William G. of Columbus.; two nieces Peggy Luttrell of Columbus and Sylvia Harrison of Columbia, SC; two nephews Michael Gallman of Columbus and Rex Gallman of SC. Grandchildren Chris Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Ramesh, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Stewart, Beth Stewart, Richard Stewart, and Katherine Stewart; great granddaughters Sophie Ramesh and Victoria Cornejo. Mr. Bevers was preceded in death by Lois Reese, Bobby Reese and Mildred Gallman.

MILTON HARRIS NEWBERRY
Milton Harris Newberry, 78, of Colquitt, died Friday, June 24, 2005, in Miller County Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Peter Dobie officiating. Interment was Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Ruskin Memorial Park in Ruskin, FL.
Mr. Newberry was born January 18, 1927 in Miller County. She was retired from Section Foreman with Seaboard Coast Line Railroad and was a member of South Mt. Zion Church of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Faye Newberry of Ruskin, FL; one sister, Jeanine Curby of Seffner, FL; three brothers, Eager W. Newberry of Riverview, FL, Robert Lamar Newberry of Eagle Lake, FL, and William H. Newberry of Gibsonton, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
