She had no degrees, but God gave her two talents that she used to care for and make her family and friends happy. Her delight was to invite people to share a special meal. All agree she had a talent to cook those special dishes. Her artistic and sewing talents were used to design and make special clothes. She shared her sewing, making tatting and other handiwork to make so many people happy when she shared these talents when she made gifts for so many friends and loved ones. She retired from the Monogramming Company in Columbus. Mrs. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Oswall Stanley and wife Annell, and four younger brothers and sister. She is survived by three children: a daughter, Vivian McCrory & husband, J.B. of Columbus; two sons Billy Ellis and wife Mary Lou of Semmes, AL and Jerry Ellis and wife Hildred of Selma, AL.
