EDDIE LAMAR BUTLER
Mr. Eddie Lamar Butler, age 61, of Colquitt died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Miller County Hospital. Mr. Butler was born November 17, 1944, in Bay County, Florida. He was a retired clerk and a member of the Lieutenant Lovett Allen Tully Camp #2701, Sons of Confederate Veterans. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donna Bevels and the Rev. Billy Mills officiating. Interment followed in Blakely City Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Inez White, Colquitt; two daughters, Rachelle and son-in-law Tracy Kimbrel and Holly Butler, both of Colquitt; two grandchildren, Alan and Joshua Kimbrel, Colquitt; three nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Butler, one brother, John Wayne Butler and one sister, Barbara Christine Nichols.

COLONEL BROWN STINNETT
Colonel Brown Stinnett, age 69, of Donalsonville died Thursday evening, June 8, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Stinnett was born June 9, 1936, in Dayton, Tennessee, to the late Claude and Carrie Smith Stinnett. He had lived in Donalsonville since 1978 at which time he became employed with Three Notch EMC as a truck operator. He worked with Three Notch until his retirement in 2001. Graveside services were held Saturday morning, June 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City with the Rev. Monty Lassister officiating. Survivors include his wife, Gloria S. Stinnett, Donalsonville; three sons, John Stinnett and wife, Susie, James Stinnett and wife, Gloria, and Randy Stinnett, all of Donalsonville; two brothers, Harold Stinnett, Spring City, TN, and Doug Stinnett, Battle Creek, MI; five sisters, Brenda Orns, Battle Creek, MI, Affie Stinnett, Battle Creek, MI, Daisy Schlegel, Woodbury, TN, Betty Grider, Lake Wales, FL, and Claudia Yesh, Hastings, MI; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Stinnett was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Seago; three brothers, Vern Stinnet, John Stinnett, and Creed Stinnett; and one sister, Margaret Mize.

ERIK MATTHEW COLWELL
Mr. Erik Matthew Colwell, age 30, of Colquitt died Friday, June 9, 2006. Mr. Colwell was born March 8, 1976, in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Colquitt and was a lab technician at American Fibers. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Eldorendo Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Long officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Robbie Phillips, Jason Tabb, Phillip Jones, Michael Musgrove, Rusty Tabb, and Rusty Darley. Survivors include two daughters, Haley Raelynn Colwell and Summer Rayne Colwell, both of Colquitt; parents, Glenn and Kathy Colwell, Colquitt; one sister, Heather Colwell, Colquitt; maternal grandmother, Katie Dasher, Bainbridge; paternal grandfather, John E. Colwell, Norwalk, Connecticut; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

LAVON LOVERING
Mr. Lavon Lovering, age 81 of Colquitt died Monday, June 12, 2006.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery.
